Davos: HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari met separately with Chairman and CEO of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) Adebayo Ogunlesi, Chairman of the Board of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Makoto Takashima, and Chairman of Julius Baer Noel Quinn, during His Excellency's participation in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meetings focused on the most prominent issues in the financial, economic, and investment sectors. The discussions also included topics of common interest and those related to the WEF Annual Meeting.
