Chiang mai: A military aircraft crashed on Thursday in Chiang Mai province, Thailand, killing two persons.
According to Qatar News Agency, local authorities reported that the aircraft, which crashed, was an AT-6 model and was on a training mission, without specifying the reasons that led to the accident. An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances of the incident, while emergency teams are working to secure the crash site.
In 2025, a similar incident occurred, after a police aircraft crashed into the sea south of the Thai capital of Bangkok, killing five persons.
