Doha: The 15th session of the Milipol Qatar 2024 Exhibition and Conference has concluded at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, under the theme “Technology in the Service of Security.” The event, which spanned three days, saw participation from 42 countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, Major General Nasser bin Fahad Al-Thani, Chairman of the Milipol Qatar 2024 Committee, highlighted the event’s growth since its inception in 1996. The conference showcased the latest innovations and technologies in security and facilitated discussions on various security issues. A significant outcome was the signing of deals worth QR 842,013,218.
The event saw participation from 360 official delegates, including dignitaries from 42 countries, underscoring its global significance. The exhibition attracted 255 exhibitors from 26 countries, with international participants comprising 70 percent of the exhibitors. The total number of visitors and participants reached 14,500.
The 15th session featured the International
Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Homeland Security and Safety Technology, which included 20 speakers and resulted in recommendations for competent authorities. Over three days, 15 seminars addressed security issues such as cybersecurity, civil defense, and securing airports and borders.
The exhibition area covered 23,000 square meters, including an outdoor display showcasing the Ministry of Interior’s fleet. The next edition of Milipol Qatar is scheduled for October 20-22, 2026. Yann Jonot, CEO of Civipol and President of the Milipol International Exhibition Network, emphasized the exhibition’s role in facilitating connections with decision-makers and enhancing accessibility.
The strong participation from official delegations and exhibitors highlights Milipol Qatar’s established position in the region.
