Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Thursday welcomed at the Grand Serail UNIFIL Commander, Major General Aroldo Lázaro Sáenz.

“It is required from all parties to neutralize UNIFIL from military operations to enable it to perform its full role,’ Mikati added.
Prime Minister Mikati also received Swiss Ambassador to
Lebanon, Marion Weichelt, with whom he discussed bilateral relations between both nations and the current situations on both sides of the Blue Line in the southern Lebanon, in addition to implementing Resolution 1701.
