Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Tuesday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, which may be thundery at times, and relatively cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily report, warning of expected thundery rain accompanied by strong winds.

According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will also be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, possibly thundery at times. The report warned of thundery rain, strong winds, and high seas. Inshore winds are expected to be northwesterly to northeasterly at 10-20 KT, with gusts reaching up to 28 KT at times. Offshore, winds will be northwesterly at 10-18 KT, with gusts up to 27 KT.

Sea conditions inshore are predicted to be between 2-4 feet, rising to 5 feet at times, while offshore seas are expected to be 3-5 feet, rising to 8 feet at times. Visibility, both inshore and offshore, will range between 4-9 km, dropping to 3 km or less during thundery rain.
