Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Sunday will be hot to very hot daytime with slight to blowing dust and some clouds at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected strong wind daytime. Offshore, it will be hazy with some clouds later, the report added.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be mainly northwesterly at a speed of 10 - 20 KT, gusting to 32 KT daytime. Offshore, it will be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 3 - 12 KT, reaching 20 KT at north daytime. Sea state inshore will be 1 - 2 ft, rising to 4 ft at north daytime. Offshore, it will be 1 - 3 ft, rising to 6 ft at north daytime.
Visibility inshore will be 4 - 9 km / 3 km or less at places daytime, while offshore will be 5 - 9 km. High and low tides are expected to vary across different areas: Doha will experience high tides at 14:08 and 22:26, with low tides at 06:14 and 20:28. Mesaieed will see high tide at 16:14 and low tide at 07:31, while Wakrah's high tides are at 15:27 and 23:35, and low tides at 07:08 and 20:41.
The report further outlines that Al Khor will have a high tide at 00:02 and low tide at 17:30 and 06:17. Ruwais is expected to have high tides at 00:02 and 12:51, with low tides at 06:17 and 19:25. Dukhan will experience high tides at 04:56 and 17:34, and low tides at 11:18 and 23:50. Meanwhile, Abu Samra is forecasted to have high tides at 02:09 and 08:24, with low tides at 08:09 and 14:09. The sun is expected to rise at 04:55 LT and set at 18:24 LT.
