Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Sunday is expected to be very hot during the daytime, as reported by the Department of Meteorology in its daily weather report.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will be hazy at times, becoming misty to foggy in certain areas by late night. The report cautions about the possibility of poor horizontal visibility in some regions during the late night hours.
The wind inshore is anticipated to start as southwesterly, shifting to northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds ranging from 4 to 14 KT. Offshore winds are expected to be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 3 to 12 KT, turning northeasterly in some areas by the afternoon.
The sea state inshore is predicted to be between 1 to 2 feet, while offshore conditions are expected to range from 1 to 3 feet. Visibility inshore is projected to be between 5 to 10 kilometers, with offshore visibility varying from 5 to 9 kilometers and potentially dropping to 1 kilometer or less in certain areas by late night.
