Meteorology Department Issues Alert for Strong Winds and High Seas

Doha: The Meteorology Department has issued a warning for strong winds and high seas in certain areas, effective until 6:00 am on Saturday. According to the department's daily weather report, the inshore weather tonight is expected to be slightly dusty to dusty at times, with some clouds present.

According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions are anticipated to include some clouds and slight dustiness, with warnings in place for strong winds and high sea levels at specific locations initially. Inshore winds will be northwesterly to westerly, ranging from 08 to 15 knots, with gusts up to 22 knots at certain spots initially.

Offshore, the wind is expected to be northwesterly, varying between 08 to 15 knots and gusting to 22 knots in some areas initially. Visibility is projected to range from 05 to 10/03 kilometers, potentially decreasing at times both onshore and offshore.

The sea state inshore is predicted to be between 1 to 3 feet, while offshore conditions are expected to range from 2 to 4 feet, potentially rising to 7 feet in certain areas initially.
