MCIT Launches Survey to Enhance Digital Inclusion in Qatar

Baku:The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has initiated the 2026 Digital Inclusion Survey aimed at assessing digital inclusion levels among citizens and residents. This initiative is part of Qatar's efforts to develop the second edition of the Qatar Digital Inclusion Index Report, following its inaugural release in 2024.

According to Qatar News Agency, the survey will collect insights into how individuals access and use digital services and technologies. The results will help create an updated national overview of digital inclusion, highlighting areas for improvement in accessibility, quality, and inclusiveness of digital services.

The MCIT has emphasized its commitment to participant privacy, ensuring that all responses remain confidential and are analyzed anonymously. The data will solely support the enhancement of digital services and the forthcoming Qatar Digital Inclusion Index Report 2026, expected later this year.

Citizens and residents can take part in the survey through a provided link, while MCIT will promote it via official channels, SMS, and awareness campaigns in collaboration with government entities. Additionally, MCIT plans to conduct face-to-face interviews with selected community groups for qualitative insights, enriching the report with diverse perspectives.

These efforts will culminate in a comprehensive report that guides future policies to strengthen digital inclusion, ensuring digital services meet the evolving needs of society. MCIT appreciates the participation of citizens and residents, recognizing their vital role in advancing national digital inclusion efforts.
