According to Qatar News Agency, the US Geological Survey reported that the quake occurred at a depth of 30.3 kilometers, about 141 kilometers from the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

No casualties or material damage have been reported, and residents did not feel the tremor, which is notable given the region's history of seismic activity.

Kamchatka lies within the geologically active Ring of Fire, an area prone to frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, making ongoing monitoring vital to regional safety.
