Lusail: The Lusail International Circuit (LIC) announced it will host the 2025-2026 Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East (PCCME) - Round 02 as part of the Formula 1 (F1) - Qatar Airways - Qatar Grand Prix 2025 from November 28 to 30. This event continues the collaboration between PCCME and the Qatar Grand Prix F1, following the successful 2024 race where German racer Janne Stiak emerged victorious.
According to Qatar News Agency, this year's PCCME will feature three main categories: Pro, ProAm, and Masters. It will also include special categories for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and rookies, creating opportunities for emerging talents in the region and beyond. Qatari driver Abdulla Al Khelaifi will compete in this edition with the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) team, advancing from ProAm to the Pro category. Al Khelaifi previously achieved third place overall and first place in the ProAm category during the races held at LIC last year.
The LIC has scheduled two practice sessions for November 28, followed by the qualifying session and the first race on November 29. The 2025-2026 PCCME - Round 02 will conclude with the second race on November 30.
