Lebanese Army Commander and French Foreign Minister Engage in Strategic Discussions on Regional Developments

Beirut: Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, Brigadier General Rodolphe Haykal, engaged in discussions with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Baroux, who is currently visiting Lebanon, on the overall situation and developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the requirements needed to enhance the army's capabilities.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting also addressed preparations for the Lebanese Army Support Conference in France, scheduled to be held in Paris on 5 March.

Furthermore, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with the French Foreign Minister on Friday to discuss developments in Lebanon and the Middle East. The discussions also covered ongoing preparations for the Lebanese Army Support Conference.
