Kuwait’s Inflation Rose by 2.39 Percent in July Compared to Same Month Last Year

Kuwait city: Statistical data released on Thursday showed that Kuwait's inflation rate rose by 2.39 percent in July compared to the same period last year.

According to Qatar News Agency, the data published by the Central Statistical Bureau of Kuwait revealed that the inflation rate in the country increased by 0.22 percent in July compared to June.

The bureau attributed the year-on-year rise in inflation to higher prices in the main groups influencing the consumer price index, particularly food, healthcare, clothing, and education, with the exception of transportation.
