Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces intercepted seven ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 26 drones within Kuwaiti airspace in the past 24 hours, confirming that they were dealt with according to established procedures.
According to Qatar News Agency, Colonel Saud Al Atwan, the official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, revealed that the aggression, attributed to Iran, targeted the Mina Al Ahmadi refinery. This attack resulted in fires affecting several operational units. In addition, a power and water desalination plant was also targeted, leading to material damage to some of its components. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in these incidents.
Colonel Al Atwan further explained that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Inspection and Disposal Group of the Ground Force Engineering responded to 22 reports. These efforts are part of the ongoing field operations aimed at handling objects and remnants from the aggression, with the goal of enhancing safety and protecting lives and property.
