Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday that the State of Kuwait welcomed the announcements by the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada of their official recognition of the State of Palestine.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry expressed appreciation for this step, viewing it as conducive to restoring peace in the Middle East and the realization of the two-state solution. Kuwait reaffirmed the importance of enabling the Palestinian people to establish an independent state within the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The statement urged other countries to follow suit, contributing to efforts aimed at finding a fair and comprehensive solution to the Palestine cause. This, the ministry emphasized, would help restore security and stability in the region and ensure prosperity for all nations involved.
