Kuwait City: Kuwait and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on Thursday held their first strategic dialogue in Geneva. The meeting marked a significant step in strengthening the collaboration between Kuwait and the UNHCR.
According to Qatar News Agency, the dialogue was chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah on behalf of Kuwait, and Deputy High Commissioner for Refugees Kelly Clements for the UNHCR. The discussions focused on the strategic partnership between the two parties.
The dialogue aimed to explore and enhance joint cooperation to address regional and global challenges related to refugees. Both sides expressed commitment to finding solutions and supporting initiatives that could alleviate the plight of refugees worldwide.
