Kuwait Stock Exchange’s general index closed its trading today with a decrease of 7.6 points, reaching a level of 7,015.52 points, a decrease of 0.11 percent.

A total of 144.10 million shares were traded in 9,445 cash transactions with a value of KD 25 million (approximately USD 76.2 million).

The Main Market Index rose by 3.5 points to reach a level of 5,721.37 points, an increase of 0.06 percent, with a trading volume of 107.7 million shares in 4,934 cash transactions with a value of KD 10.8 million (approximately USD 32.9 million).

Meanwhile, the first market index fell by 11.9 points, reaching a level of 7,698.31 points, a decrease of 0.16 percent, with a trading volume of 36.4 million shares in 4,511 transactions with a value of KD 14.10 million (approximately USD 43 million).

The bourse Main 50 Index increased by 3.4 points to reach a level of 5,670.06 points, an increase of 0.06 percent, with a trading volume of 72 million shares in 3,446 cash transactions with a value of KD 9.6 million (approximately USD 29.2 million).
