Kuwait Bourse Sees Positive Gains as All Share Index Rises

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index gaining 43.88 points to reach 8,416.47 points, marking an increase of 0.52 percent. The trading session saw a total of 251.2 million shares valued at KWD 81.9 million (approximately USD 251.4 million) exchanged hands through 19,203 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index witnessed a rise of 84.70 points, ending at 7,683.50 points, which translates to an increase of 1.11 percent. This was achieved with 117 million shares traded via 7,885 transactions, amounting to a total value of KWD 16.5 million (around USD 50.6 million).

The Premier Market Index also experienced an upward trend, gaining 37.36 points to close at 9,009.16 points, up by 0.42 percent. This increase involved 134.2 million shares traded through 11,318 transactions, with a total value of KWD 65.4 million (approximately USD 200.7 million).

Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index advanced by 81.39 points, reaching 7,989.71 points, up by 1.03 percent. The trading volume for this index was 108.2 million shares carried out in 6,331 deals, valued at KWD 14.6 million (roughly USD 44.8 million).
