Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index gaining 69.80 points to reach 8,957.80 points, marking an increase of 0.79 percent. A total of 494.18 million shares valued at KWD 126.14 million, approximately USD 384.7 million, were traded through 27,938 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index saw an increase of 29.90 points, closing at 8,219.38 points, which is up by 0.37 percent. This was achieved through 251 million shares exchanged via 16,672 transactions, with a total value of KWD 41 million, or roughly USD 125 million.

The Premier Market Index experienced a rise of 83.02 points, reaching 9,583.43 points, up by 0.87 percent. This was facilitated through 243.11 million shares traded via 11,266 transactions, valued at KWD 85 million, approximately USD 259.2 million.

Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index increased by 96.74 points, reaching 8,553.39 points, reflecting a 1.14 percent rise. This was achieved through a stock volume of 92.6 million shares conducted in 6,161 deals at a value of KWD 16.9 million, approximately USD 51.5 million.
