Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday with notable gains across its indices. The All Share Index rose by 49.23 points, reaching 8,545.28 points, marking an increase of 0.58 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, trading saw 640.6 million shares exchanged, with a total value of KWD 138.2 million, approximately USD 452.5 million, through 30,274 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced an upswing of 26.29 points, climbing to 7,337.25 points, reflecting a 0.36 percent increase. This was achieved through 383.2 million shares traded in 18,525 transactions, valued at KWD 53.9 million, or roughly USD 176.4 million.

The Premier Market Index also showed positive movement, gaining 75.38 points to settle at 9,268.95, up by 0.62 percent. This rise was supported by 257.4 million shares traded through 11,749 transactions, with a total value of KWD 84.3 million, approximately USD 276 million.

Additionally, the Bourse Main 50 Index edged up by 2.69 points, reaching 7,381.49 points, a 0.04 percent increase. This was achieved with a stock volume of 302.5 million shares across 11,530 deals, valued at KWD 40.4 million, or roughly USD 132.2 million.
