Doha: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 37.32 points to reach 8,906.67 points, an increase of 0.42 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 536.5 million shares valued at KWD 113.17 million (roughly USD 346.3 million) were traded through 30,283 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a significant rise, gaining 92.59 points to reach 8,601.56 points, marking an increase of 1.09 percent. This was achieved through 355 million shares executed via 17,235 transactions, with a total value of KWD 53.8 million (approximately USD 164.6 million).
The Premier Market Index also experienced positive movement, gaining 27.51 points to reach 9,433.80 points, an increase of 0.29 percent. This was facilitated by the trading of 181.5 million shares through 13,048 transactions, totaling a value of KWD 59.3 million (about USD 181.4 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index increased by 47.28 points to reach 9,363.83 points, up by 0.51 percent. The trading volume for this index was 275.19 million shares, conducted in 12,699 deals with a total value of KWD 42.4 million (approximately USD 129.7 million).
