Kuwait Bourse Records Gains Across Indices


Doha: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index gaining 44.86 points to reach 8,488.73 points, marking an increase of 0.53 percent.



According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw 618.6 million shares valued at KWD 124.7 million (approximately USD 408.4 million) exchanged through 34,381 transactions. The Main Market Index rose by 37.62 points to 7,348.13 points, reflecting an increase of 0.51 percent. This was achieved with 446.4 million shares traded through 24,012 transactions, valued at KWD 67.5 million (around USD 221 million).



The Premier Market Index witnessed a gain of 48.88 points, reaching 9,192.78, up by 0.53 percent. This was based on 172.1 million shares traded through 10,369 transactions valued at KWD 57.2 million (approximately USD 187.3 million).



Meanwhile, the bourse’s Main 50 Index increased by 15.96 points to 7,352.54 points, an uptick of 0.22 percent. This was achieved with a stock volume of 352.2 million shares executed in 13,861 deals, amounting to a value of KWD 46.4 million (roughly USD 151.9 million).
