Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index gained 44.52 points to reach 8443.87 points, an increase of 0.53 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 465.2 million shares valued at KWD 83.1 million (roughly USD 274.2 million) were traded via 24,680 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a rise of 106.87 points, reaching 7310.51 points, marking an increase of 1.48 percent. This was achieved through 355.8 million shares executed via 18,800 transactions valued at KWD 48.4 million (roughly USD 159.7 million).
The Premier Market Index also experienced a gain, rising by 31.16 points to 9143.90, an increase of 0.34 percent. This was accomplished through 109.4 million shares carried out via 5,880 transactions valued at KWD 34.6 million (roughly USD 114 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse's Main 50 Index increased by 52.37 points to reach 7336.58 points, up by 0.72 percent. This was through a stock volume of 261.1 million shares conducted in 11,093 deals at a value of KWD 34.1 million (roughly USD 112.5 million).
