Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher with All Share Index Gaining 14.10 Points

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index gained 14.10 points to reach 8,852.45 points, an increase of 0.16 percent. As many as 439.4 million shares valued at KWD 90 million (roughly USD 274.5 million) were traded via 23,704 transactions. According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index saw a decline, going down by 27.28 points to reach 8,380.50 points, a decrease of 0.32 percent. This was achieved through 305.8 million shares executed via 15,151 transactions valued at KWD 41.3 million (roughly USD 125.9 million). The Premier Market Index, however, experienced a rise, gaining 25.13 points to reach 9,407.63 points, up by 0.27 percent. This was facilitated by 133.5 million shares done via 8,553 transactions valued at KWD 48.6 million (roughly USD 148.2 million). Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index registered a loss of 10.47 points to settle at 8,485.93 points, down by 0.12 percent. This was through a stock volume of 120.5 million shares carried out in 6,670 deals at a value of KWD 24 million (roughly USD 73.2 million).
