Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index gaining 9.27 points, reaching 8,101.19 points, marking an increase of 0.11 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a transaction volume of 340.2 million shares valued at KWD 96.5 million, approximately USD 297.2 million, executed through 19,887 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a rise of 36.70 points, bringing it to 7,334.85 points, an increase of 0.50 percent. This was achieved with 165.9 million shares traded via 8,761 transactions, valued at KWD 27.8 million, or roughly USD 85.6 million.

The Premier Market Index also saw an uptick, gaining 2.80 points to reach 8,693.06 points, up by 0.03 percent. This was facilitated through 174.2 million shares across 11,126 transactions, with a total value of KWD 68.6 million, equivalent to USD 211.2 million.

Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index climbed by 55.53 points to settle at 7,386.30 points, reflecting a 0.76 percent increase. This index recorded a trading volume of 133.3 million shares, conducted through 6,622 deals, and valued at KWD 23.8 million, or approximately USD 73.3 million.
