Kuwait and Tajikistan Discuss Enhanced Economic and Trade Cooperation

Doha: Kuwait and Tajikistan have explored ways to further cement bilateral economic and trade cooperation. This development was highlighted during talks held in Kuwait between Finance Minister and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Nora Al Fassam and Tajikistan's Deputy Prime Minister Usmonali Usmonzoda and Finance Minister Fayziddin Kakhhorzoda.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Fassam emphasized in a press statement that enhancing financial cooperation between Kuwait and Tajikistan is part of a broader strategy to expand economic partnerships. The efforts aim to deepen financial ties with Central Asian countries, particularly Tajikistan, to explore more investment opportunities that would yield mutual benefits and interests.

She further mentioned that both nations have signed agreements to bolster bilateral cooperation. These agreements are designed to create a conducive investment environment for companies and investors in both Kuwait and Tajikistan, facilitating economic growth and development.
