Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan met in Amman on Tuesday with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric Egger. King Abdullah stressed that it is vitally important to pursue diplomacy in ending the conflicts in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, both sides delved into the specifics of the High-Level Conference on Humanity in War, which Jordan is poised to host this year in partnership with ICRC alongside several nations.
