Astana: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received a written message from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas concerning bilateral relations between the two countries and developments in Palestine. The message was delivered by Mahmoud Al Habbash, Advisor to the Palestinian President for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, during his meeting with the Kazakh President Tuesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, President Tokayev reaffirmed his country's steadfast position in support of the rights of the Palestinian people until they achieve freedom and independence. He emphasized the necessity of ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state in accordance with international legitimacy and relevant resolutions.
