Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan spoke on the phone with US President Donald Trump, focusing on the situation in the region, particularly developments in Gaza and Syria.

According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah emphasized the need to intensify efforts to stop the conflict in Gaza and to ensure aid reaches all regions across the Strip to alleviate the challenging situation. He confirmed Jordan's commitment to work with the United States and other active nations to achieve peace, ensuring regional security and stability.

King Abdullah also highlighted the close coordination between Jordan and the United States in efforts to de-escalate tensions in Syria. He stressed the importance of maintaining Syria's stability and territorial integrity.
