Jordan’s Exports Rise by 9.2% in First Five Months of 2025

Doha: Jordan's exports grew by 9.2 percent during the first five months of 2025, reaching JD 3.578 billion (approximately $5.05 billion), compared to JD 3.276 billion during the same period in 2024.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Jordanian Department of Statistics reported in its monthly report, issued today, that the country's imports by the end of last May amounted to JD 8.135 billion, compared to JD 7.439 billion for the same period the previous year, an increase of 8.6 percent.

The report highlighted that the trade deficit, which represents the difference between the value of total exports and the value of imports, reached JD 4.197 billion by the end of May of this year. This compares to JD 3.865 billion for the same period the previous year, marking an increase of 8.6 percent.
