Jordanian Monarch and Vietnamese Prime Minister Focus on Enhancing Bilateral Ties

Hanoi: King Abdullah II of Jordan met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting in Hanoi, they also discussed the latest developments in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Jordanian monarch emphasized Jordan's commitment to building strong relations with Vietnam and strengthening economic, investment, and defense cooperation. He noted the importance of developing joint work between the two countries in various sectors, including tourism, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and agriculture.

The Vietnamese Prime Minister stressed the importance of consolidating cooperation between Vietnam and Jordan in several fields. Additionally, the Jordanian monarch met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Tran Thanh Manh, where they discussed bilateral cooperation and mechanisms for strengthening parliamentary cooperation, as well as regional developments, particularly the situation in Gaza and the West Bank.
