Doha: Jordanian King Abdullah II stressed, in a phone call Tuesday with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the need to immediately end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, achieve a ceasefire in the Strip, and allow sufficient relief aid to flow to all areas to alleviate the suffering of the people.
According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah II noted his country's continued coordination with brotherly and friendly countries to facilitate the entry of aid into Gaza, appreciating the European position in support of ending the war and achieving peace based on the two-state solution.
He also warned of the danger of Israeli escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem, calling for the importance of preserving Syria's security, stability, and sovereignty.
