Jordan, Tunisia Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional and International Developments

Amman: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Tunisian counterpart Mohamed Ali Nafti, who is visiting Jordan, discussed on Tuesday bilateral ties in the fields of trade, investment, education and tourism. Their discussions also covered regional and international developments, particularly the situation in occupied Gaza and the occupied West Bank, as well as efforts to achieve security, stability and a just and comprehensive peace in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, both ministers emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Jordan and Tunisia to enhance mutual interests. They highlighted the need for collaborative efforts in addressing challenges facing the region, emphasizing the role of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving conflicts.

The meeting between Safadi and Nafti was part of broader efforts to bolster bilateral relations and address pressing regional issues. The ministers reiterated their commitment to working together in international forums to advocate for peace and stability in the Middle East.
