Doha: Jordan thwarted an infiltration attempt across its northern border, after they attempted to cross the border illegally.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Jordanian news agency (Petra) reported that the Jordanian border guards deployed a rapid response patrol, arrested the infiltrator, and referred them to the relevant authorities.

Jordanian authorities periodically announce the arrest of illegal immigrants, particularly along the northern and eastern borders.
