Gaza: Today, Friday, a Jordanian food aid convoy consisting of 100 trucks entered the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom crossing.
The Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization, Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, said that this convoy seeks to alleviate the increasing humanitarian pressures on the residents of the Gaza Strip, who suffer from an acute shortage of food and medical resources.
Al-Shibli stressed Jordan’s commitment to ensuring that aid reaches those who need it and to remove any obstacles to providing relief to the brothers in Gaza.
According to Al-Shibli, the convoy included a wide range of basic foodstuffs, scheduled to be distributed in cooperation with partners from international organizations.
This is the second convoy during Eid al-Fitr, bringing the total number of trucks sent during it to 205 trucks, while the number of trucks sent by Jordan since the beginning of the crisis reached 887 trucks
