Amman: Jordan Armed Forces announced on Sunday that they successfully intercepted a projectile and two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched by Iran towards Jordanian territory within the last 24 hours.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Military Media Directorate of the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces confirmed the successful interception by the air defenses, preventing potential harm. The incident has raised concerns over regional security and the escalation of tensions.

The Public Security Directorate reported the handling of 26 incidents involving falling debris and bomblets in the same period. Fortunately, no casualties have been recorded, though some material damage was noted in the affected areas.
