Jordan King Warns of Israel’s Endorsement of Gaza Occupation Consolidation Plan

Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan has issued a warning regarding the potential dangers posed by Israel's security cabinet's approval of a plan aimed at consolidating the occupation of Gaza and expanding military control over the region. The King emphasized Jordan's firm stance against any efforts to displace Palestinians residing in Gaza and the West Bank or to annex Palestinian territories.

According to Qatar News Agency, this warning was conveyed during a meeting between King Abdullah II and Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, who led Egypt's delegation to the Jordanian-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee meeting in Amman. The discussions underscored the critical need to end hostilities in Gaza and facilitate the delivery of sufficient humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the Gazan population.

King Abdullah II reiterated the importance of immediately halting the ongoing conflict in Gaza and stressed the urgency of ensuring a steady flow of humanitarian assistance to address the dire needs of the people in the region. The King's remarks highlight the growing regional concerns about the humanitarian and political implications of the conflict.
