Amman: The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Wednesday expressed its condemnation and rejection of the statements made by Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the so-called Greater Israel vision, considering them a dangerous provocative escalation, a threat to the sovereignty of states, and a violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the official spokesperson for the ministry, Sufyan Qudah, affirmed in a statement the Kingdom's absolute rejection of these inciting statements, stressing that these delusions reflected in the statements of Israeli officials will not affect Jordan and Arab countries, nor do they detract from the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
He explained that these statements and practices reflect the troubled situation of the Israeli government, which coincides with its international isolation amid its continued aggression against Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
He emphasized that these claims and delusions adopted and promoted by the extremists in the Israeli government encourage the continuation of cycles of violence and conflict, which requires a clear international stance condemning them and warning of their grave consequences on the region's security and stability, and holding those who make them accountable.
Qudah called for the immediate mobilization of the international community to stop all Israeli inciting actions and statements that threaten the region's stability and international peace and security.
