Jordan and Vietnam Discuss Bilateral Ties During King Abdullah II’s Hanoi Visit

Hanoi: King Abdullah II of Jordan met with Vietnamese President Luong Cuong on Wednesday in Hanoi to review bilateral relations and explore ways to strengthen cooperation, as well as to discuss regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the visit, the two leaders explored opportunities to expand economic collaboration in promising sectors, including pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, agriculture, and halal food production.

As part of the visit, the governments of Jordan and Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding between their foreign ministries, alongside another agreement between the Jordanian Diplomatic Institute and Vietnam's Diplomatic Academy.

The agreements aim to foster closer diplomatic and educational ties, highlighting a shared commitment to deepening cooperation across multiple sectors.
