Jerusalem Governorate Reports 4 Slain, 66 Detention Cases, and Series of Incursions Last November

Jerusalem: Four Palestinians were slain in the occupied Jerusalem Governorate by the Israeli occupation forces' firepower, among them two children during last November, Jerusalem Governorate has documented.

According to Qatar News Agency, the report highlighted that 35 others were injured in the same month while 66 were detained, in addition to a series of repeated incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Governorate further indicated that November's Israeli violations had been focused on direct targeting of civilians, coupled with continuous detention campaigns, actual imprisonment sentences, demolition and eviction operations, house arrest, as well as repeated intrusions into the perimeter of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The occupation authorities keep 51 Palestinian bodies in morgue refrigerators and Cemeteries of Numbers, with settlers conducting 60 direct assaults on Palestinians and their property, the Governorate cautioned. Al-Aqsa Mosque was gripped by perilous escalation in the pace of assaults, including storming of its compound by 4,266 settlers, with the intrusion of 15,220 individuals into the compound under the cloak of what is claimed to have been tourism as part of the Israeli occupation's plans to deepen its sovereignty over the Mosque and its perimeter.

As such, the Governorate documented 66 arrest cases against eight children and two women, as well as eight banishment orders from Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city in general. In addition, the Governorate monitored a dangerous escalation in demolition and razing policies that the occupation continues to pursue against the Palestinians in the city.

It documented 27 demolition operations and land razing, in addition to 45 notifications that had been materialized in terms of demolition orders and evacuation notices, in addition to the seizure of 77,608 dunums of land in East Al Isawiya. The Governorate likewise monitored a clear continuation of the Israeli colonial policies with the intent of reinforcing control over Jerusalem city and its vicinities through 13 new colonial plans.
