Rome: The Italian government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing military support to Ukraine until a peaceful resolution is reached in the ongoing conflict with Moscow. This announcement highlights Italy's determination to aid Ukraine in its struggle against Russian aggression.
According to Qatar News Agency, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated in a broadcast by the AKI news agency that Italy is preparing to dispatch its eleventh package of military aid to Kyiv. This decision follows an agreement signed between Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti and Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto, underscoring Italy's unwavering support for Ukraine.
Tajani emphasized that the continuation of military support is crucial until peace is achieved. He further remarked that any consideration of lifting sanctions on Russia would require concrete guarantees from Moscow to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, indicating Italy's firm stance on maintaining pressure on Russia until substantial progress is made.
