Rome: Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani renewed his country's support for Ukraine in order to achieve a just and lasting peace. Italy is working with partners and allies to create the conditions for a just and lasting peace that will secure Ukraine's future and allow for its early reconstruction, the minister said on the social media platform X.
According to Qatar News Agency, the foreign minister noted that he joined via video conference the summit called by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the occasion of the third anniversary of the Russian military operation, which was attended by western leaders during their visit to Kyiv. Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022.
