Doha: Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani reiterated his country's continued support for Ukraine, in light of the ongoing Russian military operation against it since Feb. 24, 2022.

According to Qatar News Agency, Tajani said that Italy will continue to stand by Ukraine and support it until a just peace is achieved. He added that peace in Ukraine is difficult, and the responsibility lies with Russia.

The Italian foreign minister called on Moscow to reconsider the matter and accept the advice to achieve peace.
