Gaza: The casualty toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has soared to 68,858 fatalities and 170,664 injuries.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Saturday that over the past 48 hours, the Strip's hospitals have received the bodies of 22 martyrs. This includes five individuals killed recently and 17 bodies recovered from under the rubble, as well as nine people who sustained injuries.

The Ministry noted that thousands of victims remain beneath the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews face severe challenges in reaching them due to extensive destruction and perilous conditions on the ground.

Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, the death toll has increased to 226, with 594 others wounded. Rescue teams have recovered the bodies of 499 Palestinians, while the occupation has handed over the remains of 30 people, bringing the total number of bodies received to 225.
