Gaza: Eighteen Palestinians were killed and others injured today as a result of Israeli airstrikes and shelling on several locations in the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that nine people were killed and others injured, some in critical condition, due to three intense Israeli airstrikes targeting groups of residents near the Abdullah Azzam Mosque in the Al Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
Five Palestinians lost their lives, and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of residents near schools and a tent for displaced people on Al Nasr Street, west of the city. Sources at Al Shifa Hospital confirmed the arrival of several wounded individuals following the occupation forces' targeting of those waiting for aid in the Al Sudaniya area, northwest of the Gaza Strip.
In the central Gaza Strip, an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of people inside the Al Mazra'a School east of Deir Al Balah resulted in the death of a Palestinian and injuries to several others. Additional injuries occurred in an Israeli airstrike on a camp housing displaced persons near the city's Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
In the southern Gaza Strip, a Palestinian succumbed to wounds sustained three days earlier when an Israeli airstrike hit a tent in Khan Yunis. Two more Palestinians were killed when the occupation targeted aid seekers near the Morag area south of the city.
Earlier today, it was announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to 63,557 martyrs, with 160,660 wounded since Oct. 7, 2023.
