Gaza City: Two Palestinians were martyred and several others injured on Saturday in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip. Local sources reported that one person was killed and a woman injured in the Al Shuja'iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. A second person was killed and others were wounded when an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians near the cultural center in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the enclave. Reports indicate that Israeli forces also demolished several homes in the northern area of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

According to Qatar News Agency, earlier on Saturday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the death toll from the Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has climbed to 50,669 fatalities and 115,225 injuries. The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant loss of life and widespread destruction in the region, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis faced by the residents of Gaza.
