Mount Lebanon: One person was killed and others were injured in an Israeli raid on Mount Lebanon. Local sources said that an Israeli raid targeted the town of Jiyeh in the Chouf district of Mount Lebanon Governorate, resulting in the initial death toll of one person and the injury of 20 others. According to Qatar News Agency, Lebanon has been subjected to Israeli aggression since October 2023. Since the end of last September, the Israeli army has increased the pace of air and artillery bombardment in an unprecedented manner and expanded the scope of its targeting to extend to the capital, Beirut. This escalation has resulted in the deaths and injuries of thousands of Lebanese and forced more than a million people to flee their homes.
