Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 28 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank during the past 24 hours, including children and former prisoners.
According to a joint statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Society and the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Authority, the arrest operations took place mainly in the governorates of Bethlehem, while other arrests were distributed in Ramallah, Hebron, Jenin, Jericho, and Qalqilya.
Additionally, the occupation continues to carry out widespread incursions and destruction operations in governorates, camps and towns, accompanied by destruction of Palestinian homes, and severe beatings against detainees and their families.
Since Oct. 7, the total number of arrests in the West Bank has reached 8,710, including those arrested from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and those taken by Israeli authorities as hostages, the statement added.
