Tulkarm: Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camp for the 128th consecutive day, and on Nur Shams camp for the 115th day, amid unrelenting escalations and field offensives. The city witnessed provocative morning incursions by Israeli military vehicles, particularly in the vicinity of Martyr Dr. Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, accompanied by intensified restrictions at the Einav military checkpoint and the continued denial of entry to Palestinians.
According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli occupation forces continue to tighten their crippling blockade on both refugee camps, barring residents from returning to their homes and opening fire on anyone who attempts to approach, in addition to house raids and intrusive searches east of the city. This is coupled with a wide deployment of infantry units and intermittent bursts of gunfire echoing across the area.
Over the past two weeks, Israeli occupation forces razed over 20 structures in Nur Shams and slapped demolition notices on an additional 58 buildings in Tulkarm camp, as part of a sweeping plan to wipe out a total of 106 buildings across the two camps. Israeli troops also stormed and took over several buildings in the city, repurposing them into forward-operating military outposts, while Nablus Street was left heavily battered due to earth mounds and makeshift barriers that choked off vehicle access and crippled local movement.
The Israeli onslaught has so far killed 13 Palestinians, forcibly uprooted over 25,000 residents, flattened 400 homes entirely, and left 2,573 others partially destroyed, amid an unabated total lockdown imposed on both camps.
