Israeli Forces Sustain Aggression on Tulkarm for 39 Days

Tulkarm: The occupation forces continued the aggression on the city of Tulkarm for the 39th consecutive day, and for the 26th day on Nour Shams camp, amid military reinforcements, demolition of homes, and destruction of infrastructure.

According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation forces began demolishing a number of homes and residential buildings in the Al-Manshiya neighborhood in Nour Shams camp, after giving the owners of these homes two hours to enter the camp and evacuate, while obstructing them and firing live ammunition at them.

The occupation has maintained a strict siege on Tulkarm camp, blocking both entry and exit. Foot patrols have been deployed throughout its surroundings and the alleys of its neighborhoods. In addition, Israeli forces have raided empty homes, vandalizing them and destroying their contents. During the night, citizens were forced to evacuate their homes in the airport neighborhood after troops raided and seized several properties in the suburbs of Dhnaba and Ezbet al-Jarad, turning them into military barracks and sniper locations.

Nour Shams camp has been witnessing a continuous escalation since the beginning of the occupation's aggression on Tulkarm, amidst repeated demolitions, forcing Palestinians to displace and turning them into military barracks, in addition to the widespread and complete destruction of infrastructure and property, including homes and shops that were demolished, blown up and burned.

The ongoing aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its two camps has resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, in addition to the injury and arrest of dozens, and the forced displacement of more than 9,000 people from Nour Shams camp, and 12,000 from Tulkarm camp, accompanied by demolitions, bulldozing and complete destruction of infrastructure and homes.
